1960

At a young age, I knew that I was called to serve the Lord. My mother raised my nine siblings and I at St. John AME Church in Niagara Falls,NY. I enjoyed participating in all of the youth programs and could easily be found helping out around the church. The church WAS my safe haven, a place where I knew I could talk and connect with the Lord. The things that happened in my youth help to build my foundations in within the AME Church and in Christ.

Upon graduating from Niagara Fall's High, I matriculated to Wilberforce University (Wilberforce, OH) and later received a Master of Divinity from Boston University.

By loving and serving God, he led me to the love of my life, Renee. Through our union we continue to share the love of Christ with all God's people. I couldn't have asked for a better mate in this amazing partnership.

1986

Under the leadership of Bishop Cummings and at the young age of 26, my wife and I were sent to lead St. Paul AME Church in Hamilton, Bermuda. As the senior pastor, I was able to drastically reduce the church's debt, create new ministries, and further develop the Fairhaven Christian Drug Rehabilitation Program for Women.

Also during our time in Bermuda, our family increased by two. We welcomed two daughters, Asaiah and Kori.

1993

After seven years in Bermuda, Bishop Cousin sent my family back to the mainlands to pastor and lead one of the best churches in all of the denomination...
